Web Developer - Website (AMER, Remote)

About the role:

You will be our first web development hire. Collaborating with team members across the globe, you will have ownership for  delivering features for ClickHouse.com.  You will help us make our website as exciting and performant as our  product, captivating potential and existing users, jobseekers, and all who want to explore more about ClickHouse.

What You Will Be Doing

• You will be working on the application and backend layer that powers our website.
• You will care deeply about the speed and  resiliency of the website 
• You will collaborate  with team members of different parts of our business (design, engineering, sales, marketing, community) to deliver new features.
• You’ll be hands-on with the code (Strapi and Angular), helping strategize, and defining our future roadmap.

What You Will Bring Along

• Experience in fullstack web development and managing infrastructure to support high availability, security, and scalability. 
• Previous experience building production web applications; hands-on experience with our specific tech stack is nice to have but not required if you are willing to learn and ramp up quickly. Experience with a headless CMS would be great! 
• Ability to understand complex problems, dream up elegant solutions, and iterate quickly towards implementation
• Excellent practical judgement. You know how to prioritize, when to collaborate and ask for help, and when to be independent.
• Experience in, or desire to learn, working in a globally distributed team focused on asynchronous, text-first communication.
• An interest in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies that can help you grow. You can function well in an environment that drives towards change.

ClickHouse, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For applicants in the state of Colorado: The salary range for this position is $120,000 -$180,000 and up. A candidate’s final compensation will be determined by multiple factors to include, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications. As part of our compensation package, this role may include bonuses, equity, and/or commissions.
