Allegro MicroSystems is looking for a strategic, data-driven Web Director to deliver exceptional online experiences to prospects and customers as a key member of the marketing team.

The Web Director will be responsible for translating our digital marketing efforts into a strong, cohesive web strategy that delivers results for our rapidly growing company. You will develop and implement the strategic roadmap to deliver a powerful brand impression on site visitors, accelerate qualified lead capture, and drive measurable engagement. In addition to web strategy, you will oversee web development, SEO, and user experience. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders to understand target audiences, publish compelling web content, align digital marketing and user engagement experiences, and implement web best practices in structure, navigation, design, performance, security, and compliance.

This is a critical marketing role that requires strong analytical skills, creativity, and deep domain expertise to ensure the company website is attractive, educational, modern, easy to use, sticky, and built from a user-centered perspective. The ideal candidate will have up-to-date knowledge of relevant privacy and ADA regulations, domestically and internationally, as well as personalization techniques.

This position is a hybrid role, but must have access to our offices in Marlborough, Mass and/or Manchester, NH.

What you will do:

  • Drive the company website vision and roadmap to support our marketing and business objectives
  • Oversee the day-to-day development, maintenance, and improvement of the design and functionality for all Allegro digital properties (e.g., website, blogs, social media) leveraging deep knowledge of user experience design and best practices, as well as emerging trends in web and digital design functionality
  • Work with the global marketing team to update content, keeping pages fresh, engaging, informative, and compelling to improve stickiness and grow return visitors
  • Develop and execute a conversion rate optimization strategy focused on driving engagement and qualified leads
  • Leverage A/B testing and personalization strategies to drive better engagement and experiences for prospects, customers, prospective employees, and more
  • Continuously monitor web activity, reporting on site performance against goals
  • Understand web architecture and work with web developers to improve performance and the user experience, while maintaining compliance and security requirements
  • Develop and execute SEO strategies and plans to increase organic search rankings
  • Partner with global marketing team members to ensure brand and messaging standards are maintained
  • Partner with regional leaders to ensure that global consistency is balanced against local requirements
  • Identify, deploy, and manage relevant web tools to provide the visibility, automation, and measurement capabilities to achieve goals
  • Generate innovative ideas to increase web traffic
  • Track competitive landscape to identify digital/web trends and opportunities
  • Ensure the web platform meets the highest standards of branding, editorial and graphic quality, consistency and adheres to best practices involving site architecture, navigation, process flows, page-level interactions, functionalities, usability and accessibility.

What you need to have:

  • Minimum 10 years proven web strategy experience working with a complex, global B2B website
  • Experience leading a team, yet still have the capability to get down and dirty with day-to-day website management
  • Deep understanding of how to tune the web for lead generation, including SEO, SEM, and landing page optimization
  • Ability to articulate and implement website best practices and technology, and set standards for site health and page performance
  • Proficiency with digital technologies, including, but not limited to SiteCore, Google Analytics, SalesForce, Google Tag Manager, SEO technology, and other monitoring tools, such as SEMrush, Spyfu, VisitorTrack, and emerging social media platforms. Capable of learning new technologies quickly.
  • Experience with marketing automation, particularly implementing tracking codes and landing pages using tools like Hubspot, Pardot, etc.
  • Exceptional project management, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Ability to use web analytics and traffic measurement tools to drive website content decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer systems, marketing, business or closely related field.

What we'd like you to have:

  • Experience managing a website for a publicly traded, international company
  • Experience in the high tech industry with a focus on semi-conductors and/or engineering products / hardware
