General Summary

As a Web Specialist you will work closely with the Marketing, Design, and Engineering teams. You will manage our marketing websites, which will include developing layouts, page updates, and navigation. The ideal candidate will be familiar with technical SEO and backend website creation and management. Working with key stakeholders, you’ll drive personalization and A/B testing tools and processes. Experience in SEO keyword research and optimization that attracts visitors who engage with our products and services is a critical aspect of this position.

You will sit directly with the Marketing Team, work in close collaboration with Design, Engineering and Product teams, and report to the Manager, Marketing.

Core Functions

Website Management

  • Responsible for the development, optimization, and maintenance of Wordpress digital sites and landing pages.
  • Assist with content updates, page builds, and section redesigns.
  • Create Wordpress blog templates and associated processes.
  • Partner with members of the content marketing team to bring written content to life in articles, guides, and blog posts that are designed to drive engagement.
  • Ability to respond to and troubleshoot all website issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update Wordpress Engine, plugins and staging environment.
  • Manage domain, sitemap, and navigation for primary marketing websites and blogs.

Website Testing

  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to optimize landing and product pages.
  • Partner with key stakeholders in Marketing and Design to drive personalization and A/B testing processes and tool adoption.
  • Evaluate and implement SaaS industry best practices.
  • Research, test, and implement emerging web technologies.

SEO

  • Define and implement SEO best practices and current trends for optimization of websites across all landing pages and articles.
  • Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings.
  • Research SEO keywords for inclusion on the company's website and marketing materials.
  • Set goals that demonstrate measurable improvement in marketing efforts.

Reporting, Tracking & Metrics

  • Own our SEO and site health analytics.
  • Regularly report on, monitor, and analyze site performance KPIs, optimization and testing, and conversion tracking.
  • Provide strategic input on data collection and usage including the identification of data points to leverage while driving efforts for collection and integration.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years website management experience.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing and design teams, and communicating to key stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, a multi-tasker and able to work well under pressure.
  • Internal or self-motivation to complete multiple tasks and projects on time.
  • Strong project management skills, including creative and data needs with tight deadlines.
  • Experience managing WordPress websites, and other content and education management systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking with a basic understanding and experience with structured data.
  • Expertise in the development of landing pages, including using HTML and CSS.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing and tools, including test design, implementation, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience tracking data, including standard engagement metrics and web analytics tools (Google Analytics).
  • Knowledge of SEO/ASO best practices.
  • Experience with Guttenberg blocks and Divi plugin..

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working for Saas organizations, both B2B and B2C.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. MOZ) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).

We seek those who value in-person collaboration and are willing to do so at our Louisville, CO office on a weekly cadence in accordance with the needs of the role and team. While some opportunities can be fully-remote, there is a minimum expectation of traveling to the Louisville, CO office for essential company events a few times per year. Applicants who are not within a reasonable commute, live outside CO, or require a fully remote environment will be considered for all roles that have the capability of fully remote work. Compensation

Peaksware/TrainingPeaks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Colorado is $68,550 - $114,250. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.

This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment that is well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned with adequate ventilation and a noise level that is usually moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
