Job Overview:

The Web Strategy Specialist will be responsible for owning the LAZ marketing website and marketing operation elements. This person will leverage their knowledge about online and offline channels to ensure campaigns are comprehensive, multi-channel, and set up for success. In this role, it is vital to proactively work cross-functionally with Brand/Creative teams, Revenue Marketing, Product Marketing, and channel owners, to understand performance and cross functional insights. The Web Strategy Specialist will demonstrate a healthy, positive relationship with the team and cross functional teams for smooth execution of all projects and will develop strategies for testing, executing, and documenting critical initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Steer ongoing updates and improvements to the LAZ website. This includes managing prioritization, planning, and coordinating website updates and projects as necessary.
• Identify strategic areas of improvement including page speed for site performance, code optimization, etc.
• Manage large scale website projects. This includes improving overall website performance, rolling out a CMS, and much more. We have an exciting roadmap ahead of us, and we envision this function/team to grow over time.
• Demonstrate familiarity in digital marketing reporting and experience in working with seasoned digital marketing managers.
• Possess familiarity with the digital marketing industry trends and break down data from each digital marketing platform and build insights.
• Experienced in leveraging third party research tools to build hypothesis and business proposals to improve the business. (e.g. Google search trends, etc.)
• Advanced expertise in the generation, capture and analysis of visitor data and revenue data.
• Demonstrated ability to extract, conceptualize and communicate the important patterns of business performance from data that identify important business opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver clear and concrete data in person and through reporting.
• Understand digital promotional events and seasonal trends that impact the education industry.
• Passionate about building rapport with cross-functional teams; establishing trust, communicating openly and effectively stabilizing the needs of peers.
• Able to manage ambiguity and to work autonomously as well as part of a cohesive, hard-working team.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in marketing management of at least 5 years
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative thinker and problem solver
• Efficient organizational and time management skills
• Data-driven and research-oriented
• Proficiency in marketing automation (Pardot a plus) and marketing analytics software
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and at least one keyword research tool
• Experience with web conversion rate optimization
• Experience with Salesforce is an advantage
• HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite hands-on experience is an advantage
