Website Copywriter

HustleFish, a marketing and advertising company, is seeking a skilled Website Copywriter to join its team. The Website Copywriter will be responsible for creating engaging and effective copy for our client's websites that will improve user experience, increase traffic and ultimately generate sales.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for writing, be detail-oriented and possess a deep understanding of SEO and digital marketing. This position will require the ability to work collaboratively with other teams such as web developers and designers to deliver exceptional work for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit website copy that is engaging, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines.
• Conduct research and gather relevant information to create content that is both informative and interesting.
• Work with the Design and Development team to ensure that the copy fits with the overall design and functionality of the website.
• Proofread and edit copy at various stages of the review process to ensure high-quality standards.
• Stay up-to-date with marketing trends and industry best practices to continuously improve copy quality.
• Collaborate with clients to understand brand guidelines and incorporate them into the website copy.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven experience as a copywriter or content writer.
• Strong knowledge of SEO and digital marketing techniques.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work well under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at once.
• Familiarity with WordPress
• Attention to detail and ability to adapt writing style to match client needs.
• Located within the USA
• Minimum three years of agency experience.
