Job Summary:

We are actively seeking a talented and experienced E-commerce Website Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing visually appealing, userfriendly websites specifically tailored for e-commerce clients. Proficiency in platforms such as Shopify, WordPress, and WooCommerce is essential. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality, customized e-commerce solutions that meet our clients' needs and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Design visually stunning, responsive e-commerce websites for clients using platforms such as Shopify, WordPress, and WooCommerce.

• Work closely with internal team members and project managers to understand the client's business objectives, branding guidelines, and target audience to create custom website designs that align with their goals.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including developers, marketers, and project managers, to ensure seamless implementation of design concepts and functionalities.

• Utilize Figma or similar design tools to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design ideas and user interactions.

• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce website design, user experience (UX), and conversion rate optimization (CRO) to continuously improve our design processes and deliverables.

• Conduct thorough quality assurance (QA) testing to ensure the visual components of websites across different devices and browsers look accurate and cohesive.

• Communicate project timelines, progress, and challenges effectively to internal stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

• Contribute to the growth of our agency by actively participating in brainstorming sessions, sharing insights, and proposing innovative solutions to elevate our e-commerce design services.

Requirements:

Must-haves:

• 5+ years experience in Graphic Design and Web Design

• 5+ years experience as an E-commerce Website Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful e-commerce website projects.

• Proficiency in designing websites using platforms such as Shopify, WordPress, and WooCommerce, with a solid understanding of their respective ecosystems, themes, and plugins.

• Advanced skills in Figma or similar design tools, with the ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes with attention to detail and user experience.

• Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, including UX/UI principles and CRO techniques.

• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles, ensuring optimal user experience across various devices and screen sizes.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate design concepts and interact effectively with clients and team members.

• Detail-oriented with a passion for innovation and continuous learning in the field of e-commerce website design and development.

• Readiness and ability to operate within Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone.
