Website Operations Manager

We are looking for a talented Website Operations Manager to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be joining an team of marketers who are focused on bringing compelling experiences to life on our website that attract the right audiences to drive engagement and conversion.

As a the Website Operations Manager at Clickatell you'll be on point to evolve and optimize Clickatell.com into it's fullest potential as our most important digital asset, partnering with different stakeholders and contributors across the organization to achieve this goal. You will function as a 'product manager' for our website, bringing a range of expertise and proven experience required to make our website faster, more intuitive, and highly engaging for our audiences. You are passionate about building, operating, and optimizing best-in-class websites, and have the know-how to do it.

The Website Operations Manager must be deadline focused, goal oriented, and have stellar written and verbal communication skills. This role reports to the Vice President, Brand Marketing.

*This is primarily a REMOTE position, we are open to candidates in the US Eastern time zone - New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, Raleigh NC, Atlanta GA*

We Do The Right Things

The role of our Website Operations Champion:

• Own and drive the strategic direction of the marketing website
• Prioritize, build, execute and measure ongoing initiatives related to generating leads, growing traffic and engaging visitors
• Help envision and build new website features, tools and strategies focused on driving website KPIs
• Develop and maintain the product roadmap for the marketing website
• Leverage user analytics to release impactful features
• Take point on day-to-day operations and management of our website development partner
• Define project and/or sprint requirements, perform feasibility and needs/impact assessments
• Develop detailed project plans and manage all implementation processes including progress tracking, testing, documentation, and on-time delivery (projects may vary in number, size, and complexity)
• Ensure website performance and stability, working with internal and external technical teams
• Oversee technical roadmap progress, marketing tech stack integrations, and implementation of site functionalities
• Enable rapid and stable development of improved digital experiences
• Work with search marketing to develop and implement URL strategy with positive impact on hosting, website performance, and SEO improvements
• Work closely with search marketers and content team to achieve best-in-class SEO performance

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of related marketing operations/marketing technology/website operations experience with a Bachelor's degree; or equivalent experience
• Proven track-record of evolving and maintaining high performing websites and digital experineces
• Supernatural project and program management abilities and communication skills
• Mastery of agile methodology
• Excellent understanding of common web technologies (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Optimizely, etc.)
• Specialized experience in search traffic growth and proven background in technical SEO
• Experienced with operationally owning the CMS (Dato or other headless CMS experience a plus) and confident in training users on how to use the system
• Knowledge of CDN (content delivery network) and how it applies to website performance
• Experienced with website hosting
• Flexible and able to successfully navigate ambiguity and succeed in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple priorities
• Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude who can work under pressure
