About the Position
The position of Website Optimization Specialist is vital to the success of Dealer Inspire and our clients. This position requires excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, self-direction, problem-solving, and flexibility.
Website Optimization Specialists receive training on Technical SEO best practices as well as in-depth training on our customized website platform. Our team members take pride in serving and supporting clients by ensuring our sites meet their needs, with an optimized user experience. This is not a client-facing position.
Essential Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Review and confirm that client data gathered is accurate and complete; update within WordPress and other systems
- Plan and set up redirect maps to ensure successful content migration
- Prepare and test 301 redirects to ensure valuable redirects exist, eliminating 404s and preserving SEO authority
- Create domain plans to ensure every client utilizes their strongest domain
- Work within Google Search Console to review basic website health & proper functionality
- Submit XML sitemaps to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools
- Generate and test Structured Data scripts
- Write and implement title tags and meta descriptions for OEM-required pages
- Complete basic support tickets
- Engage in personal education covering current and emerging SEO strategies
- Work closely with Project Managers and other teams within Production to meet deadlines and complete client requests
- Identify opportunities to improve upon current internal processes
- Maintain an awareness of the other teams within Production and their contributions toward DI website success
- Evaluate and make adjustments to other technical SEO elements

- Familiarity with WordPress
- Familiarity with Google Docs/Sheets or Microsoft Word/Excel
- Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
Education and Experience:
This role accommodates individuals of all SEO backgrounds and knowledge levels
- Technical SEO knowledge or experience is preferred

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position which is not inclusive of bonuses, benefits or other forms of compensation that the position may be eligible for.
