Website/SEO Manager
Job Description
This is not a supervisory position.
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing SEO for corporate websites and microsites
- Staying continually apprised of SEO trends including those by Google and others and recommending changes to SEO strategies and tactics whenever necessary
- Advising marketing team of SEO changes and trends that may impact website traffic generation
- Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure that the websites continue to generate the quantity and quality of website traffic and leads necessary to meet sales goals
- Maintaining the technical aspects of company websites including such tasks as fixing broken links, adding metatags, posting backlinks, tagging videos and posts, etc.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure that key website metrics meet company objectives i.e. time on site, bounce rate, etc.
- Create weekly reports of website statistics and visitor traffic
- Supporting marketing events such as webinars, trade shows and conferences
- Performing maintenance and updates to company websites.
- Setting up and managing PPC and remarketing campaigns
Requirements
Required Technical Skills:
- Proven skills and experience with B2B digital marketing
- SEO skills including Keyword research and optimization
- Technical "on page" and "on site" optimization
- Strong link building campaign skills
- Excellent understanding and design of website navigation
- Intermediate level awareness of and ability to deal with cybersecurity issues involving websites
- Skilled in design and optimization of landing pages
- Ability to conduct thorough site review, create and execute action plan for improvement
- Ability to plan and execute effective PPC campaigns
- Proven skills and experience in using Adobe products including video editing and encoding
- WordPress experience and skills mandatory, preferably in Divi theme
- HTML and CSS experience/skills required
- Other desirable technical skills include, SQL, JavaScript, and JQuery
- Must have used A/B & Multivariate testing
- B2B website development experience
- Must be able to identify, maintain, record and analyze metrics involved with SEO and websites
Required soft skills:
- Clear, accurate, effective communication both written and verbal
- Ability to work both independently and with others on the team
- Ability to exercise excellent judgment, prioritize tasks & maintain confidentiality
- Able to be calm under pressure and display a positive attitude
Experience:
- Must have substantial B2B experience
- Supply chain and/or supply chain technology experience a bonus
- Experience with digital tools such as MOZ, SEMRush, etc.
- Prefer formal education and/or certification in SEO, website development and management, etc.
- Minimum 2-year college degree, Bachelor's degree or equivalent from college or technical school preferred.
- Must be experienced and have intermediate to advanced proficiency in using Adobe products including video editing and encoding
- Must provide work samples and/or portfolio
- Remote work experience a plus
- Prefer work experience as an employee rather than as a contractor
- 3+ years of SEO and Internet marketing experience
- WordPress experience is a must
