Welder and Fabricator/Mechanic-SHEET METAL

Custom sheet metal fabricator in Wayne, NJ is seeking a mechanic/welder. We do a wide variety of work, producing high quality, precision parts quickly and reliably. The successful candidate will work well in a team setting, be self motivated, and contribute a high standard of quick turn prototype parts. Responsibilities: - Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches and verbal instructions - Weld steel, stainless steel and aluminum using Mig and Tig welders - Set up and operate other fabrication equipment - Create precision sheet metal fabricated parts - Perform in-process inspection Requirements: - 3-5+ years welding and sheet metal fabrication experience - Attention to detail - Excellent communication skills - Ability to set up and operate Mig and Tig welders - Experience with milling, turning and laser cutting a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.57 - $24.33 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off Work Location: In person
