Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role involves working on construction sites and in manufacturing environments, where precision and attention to detail are essential. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and schematics, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and specifications.
Duties
• Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines for fabrication tasks.
• Conduct quality checks using calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in dimensions.
• Assemble components according to specifications while adhering to ASME codes & standards.
• Operate cranes and forklifts safely to move materials around the worksite.
• Execute rigging tasks for heavy components as required.
• Perform plasma cutting and soldering as part of the fabrication process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols.
Skills
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction site environments.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding.
• Familiarity with fabrication processes including ductwork assembly and pipe threading.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, machining, and press brake machines.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
