Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are paramount. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and schematics, performing welding tasks, and ensuring high-quality workmanship in all projects. Duties • Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate components. • Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and ductwork. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines for fabrication tasks. • Conduct pipe threading and assembly of fabricated parts as per specifications. • Operate cranes and forklifts safely to move materials and finished products. • Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precision. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while meeting deadlines. • Engage in rigging activities when necessary for lifting heavy components. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: • Proven experience in construction sites or manufacturing environments. • Proficiency in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding. • Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes. • Experience with basic math for measurements and calculations. • Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding practices. • Ability to operate machinery such as plasma cutters and machining equipment. • Experience with soldering techniques is a plus. • Strong understanding of fabrication processes including assembly of components.
