Experienced Aluminum MIG Welder Job Summary
Job Summary:As an experienced Mig Welder 2 years you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing team, assisting in various welding tasks and learning on the job.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Work closely with Lead welders to learn welding techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
• Prepare Materials: Prepare and organize materials for welding, including cleaning, cutting, fitting and welding metal components.
• Operate Welding Equipment: Under supervision, operate welding machines and tools to join metal parts according to specifications.
• Quality Control: Inspect welded joints for quality and ensure they meet established standards.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep work areas clean and organized, including proper storage of welding equipment and materials.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Learn and Improve: Actively engage in training and seek opportunities to enhance your welding skills and knowledge.
Welder Requirements and Qualifications
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift 50 lbs, and work in various positions.
· GMAW (Mig) ¼’- 1” thick material aluminum and steel weld size
· Single pass ¼” to 3/8’
· Triple pass ½”
· Part of the job is pre-cleaning before weld and post cleaning after weld, which is grinding
• Keen attention to detail to ensure precision in welding tasks.
• have a strong desire to learn and develop welding skills through on-the-job training.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and follow instructions from experienced welders.
• A commitment to safety and the ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines.
• Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential.
• Must have 2 yrs of experience and welding school training.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
