Well-established group in the New Haven CT area seeks 2 OBGYN physicians and a CNM

5 provider group with 3 OBGYN physicians and 2 CNMs seeks 2 additional OBGYN physicians and 2 CNMs for the growing group. The 3 physicians and 1 of the CNMs do 30 deliveries monthly (the 2^nd CNM only does office) and the hospital does about 700 deliveries annually. They are a more GYN-weighted group and do all in-office procedures and majors, including Robotics, at the hospital. Physicians share call of ¼ with new providers and 1/5 with 2^nd hire and CNM covers 2 12-hour night shifts and 1 weekend monthly. Call is taken from home (often not called in) and when on call they are seeing patients in the hospital office. Physicians work out of 3 fully equipped offices, and one location is considered underserved and would qualify for J1 or H1B candidates. Physicians enjoy a 4-day work week with 1 full day off. They do an average of 6-7 sessions weekly in the office with dedicated surgery time. There is flexibility in the schedule, and they will consider PT. The hospital has a level III nursery and all services in-house including anesthesia, pediatrics, and neonatology. Providers are all experienced and are interested in mentoring new physicians. 1 is the Medical Director of the Hospital and the other is the Chief of the OBGYN Dept. This is a partnership-tracked opportunity (if the physician desires).

CMN opening:

The group is looking to build a midwifery practice that functions alongside physicians in a collaborative and physician/CNM-friendly environment. Their hope is to add 2-3 more long-term so that ultimately, they have a cnm on call with the physician every night. Cnms will also do some office too and ideally, they would like to have the CNMs each do 1 24-hour call weekly and 2 office days weekly. While they would like to have CNMs with some experience, they will consider just out of training too.
