We are seeking a Wellness Service Technician to join our team at our 530 5th Avenue location in NYC. The Wellness Service Technician will report to the General Manager.

The Wellness Service Technician will provide genuine anticipatory service to clients and participants of Convene’s wellness studio. In this position, you will interact with our clients and ensure they have a great experience at Convene. You will work in partnership with the Service team to ensure we are exceeding the expectations of our clients. At all times, the Wellness Service Technician is expected to be attentive to our clients’ needs and make them feel welcomed, important, and relaxed. We need someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as someone highly motivated and ready to work with others. Rate: $21.00/hour

What You’ll Do:

• Greet all clients with enthusiasm and friendliness
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
• Provide world-class service, in accordance with our Brand Standards
• Follow checklists and Standard Operating Procedures
• Ensure clients are using equipment and space in a safe manner
• Keep the Welcome Desk, Studio, Locker Room and WorkPlace commons clean/organized
• Set up and breakdown rooms and refresh room supplies as needed
• Assistance with service execution; set-up and breakdown, support during peak periods
• Responsible for constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handling
• Perform cleaning duties including: wiping down tables and chairs, cleaning glasses, washing dishes, polishing glass and silverware, making rollups
• Comply with Convene standards and regulations to encourage healthy, safe and efficient operations in adherence to best practices and requirements from DOH, FDNY, OSHA, CDC and local guidelines, etc. 
• Orchestrate and set-up Surprise & Delights for WP Members and/or Site Tours
• Accommodate special client needs and last minute requests
• Perform opening, mid-shift, and closing duties in accordance with company standards
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Perform facility maintenance
• Manage lost and found
• Building Requests- Cleaning

What We Look For: 

• Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in multi-tasking
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required
• Ability to move, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time
