The Business Development Manager, Integrated Security Solution Sales - West is responsible for developing business and supporting internal sales resources within our Integrated Security market. Provide leadership and expertise to District/National level management and sales resources, assist with the develop of strategic partnerships across the business, and implement internal processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support regional sales leadership, Districts & National Accounts to achieve business objectives with a customer-centric and collaborative approach
- Place a focus on business development initiatives and sales opportunity support/guidance
- Lead Integrated Security business growth initiatives
- Work with other groups within the Company relating to development an implementation of service and installation standard playbooks that achieve the business objectives to enhance customer satisfaction, optimize profitability and develop long-term customer loyalty.
- Participate in the oversight of subcontractor relationship, ensuring industry leading results from labor partnerships.
- Travel as needed to focus on relationship development with Strategic Accounts, A&E firms, consultants, and the GC/EC market
- Travel and meet with strategic accounts to ensure customer expectations are met
- Travel as required to drive business growth and operational excellence
- Participate in ADT Commercial Product Committee meetings presentations
- Take part and have a lead role in high level customer meetings/presentations
- Work directly with the Regional Sales Directors to coordinate and administer sales trainings to the local field sales teams
- Work directly with District Sales Managers to uncover, qualify and pursue opportunities
- Work with field sales team to uncover and qualify IS opportunities
- Ensure a proper transition of a qualified opportunity to pre-sales engineering support
- Train field sales teams to follow the IS playbook when working on an opportunity
- Provide coaching, development and mentoring to the local/national sales channels
- Work as part of a team to manage relationships with existing product venders / manufacturers and identify new candidates for product venders and participate in conducting new product rollouts
- Provide a technical sales presence to help train local/national sales reps and be a source of knowledge in customer meetings
- Collaborate across the organization to direct roadmaps, working with project management, national accounts, application services, legal, human resources, sales and marketing departments
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- 15+ years industry experience in the electronic security/integrated security field
- 3+ years of management experience
- Industry board certification(s) desired, but not mandatory
- Previous track record of success is extremely desirable
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

- Experience with CRM or project management systems such as Zoho, MS Dynamics, Salesforce, Hubspot, Podio, etc.
Pay and Benefits Disclosure:
The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $150,000 and is based on experience and qualifications. Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance. We offer employees access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and paid time off among others. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.
