HME is looking for your talent! If you are a Western Sales Manager we would love to hear from you! In this role, you will develop, support, and controls sales of HSC products within the assigned territory. Responsible for meeting annual sales quotas for the territory within the approved budget. Develops new customers through visiting territory, attending tradeshows, prospecting and by answering incoming product inquiries. Provides product information and pricing to potential and existing customers, writes orders, and resolves complaints.

What you will do in the position:

New Accounts/Franchisee Business and New Market Opportunities

  • Collaborates with management to establish and execute the annual sales goal for the region
  • Collaborates with regional sales team member(s) and regional HSC dealers to maximize sales revenue to meet or exceed corporate-set goals
  • Forecasts quarterly and monthly sales for region
  • Maintains at least 85% YTD quota for direct sales in region
  • Follows-up, qualifies and closes sales leads generated through various mediums such as web leads, tradeshows, brand new store development lists, and inbound calls
  • Promotes and sells repair and equipment maintenance programs
  • Supports franchisee by attending managers meetings and vendor shows
  • Identifies new opportunities for HSC products by cold-calling potential users
  • Prepares periodic written status reports on account activities and opportunities

Trade Show Preparation and Attendance

  • Assists in identifying and coordinating trade shows
  • Assists with the setup, tear down, and shipment of trade show booths and equipment
  • Performs live demonstrations of Company products and presents company service programs
  • Prepares trade show status reports on business potential, customer problems, and competitive activities

Inbound Sales Inquiries

  • Answers incoming calls concerning all sales related requests for HSC products and services
  • Determines customer buying cycle and intent and sets appropriate follow-up calls
  • Answers customer questions and resolves complaints working with the appropriate HSC department

Follow-Up, Coordination, and Training

  • Prepares and follows up on customer proposals on a timely basis
  • Coordinates and regularly communicates sales efforts with the Regional Sales Group Manager to maximize effectiveness and minimize duplication of efforts
  • Assists regional sales team member(s) with sales/order documentation, literature requests, order follow up, interdepartmental communication, and trade show backup
  • Arranges face-to-face appointments with customers/prospects for either self or other regional sales team member(s) as required to close business on a timely basis

What you will need to succeed in this position:

  • 3 years previous sales experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and overall PC business use
  • Management skills including contract negotiation/management, product training, and account management.
  • AA Degree (2 years college) - Preferred
  • Travel: 50-75%

Pay Range: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00. Commission. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
