POSITION SUMMARY:

The Wholesale Sales Associate works directly with the VP of Wholesale at Fair Harbor to help support the rapidly growing wholesale business. Fair Harbor is poised to scale in the wholesale channel and is looking for a self-starter who is organized, motivated and personable. This role will work cross functionally with different teams to support wholesale initiatives. This individual will work with marketing, operations, design and product development to learn the product, prepare for wholesale market and support in season execution. In addition, this individual will help coordinate with the 10+ external sales reps to make sure they have what they need to excel and grow the business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Strategic Trade Show and Event Management:

  • Attend national and regional trade shows (10-20%), contributing to strategy on the presentation and engagement to maximize brand exposure and sales opportunities.

Platform Management:

  • B2B (Elastic & NuOrder) management and execution - collaborate with design, merchandising, and marketing to ensure Elastic is organized and set up effectively.

Sample Management:

  • Oversee the process of sending samples to sales reps and vendors, ensuring strategic allocation and utilization to maximize impact.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Resolve conflicts with wholesale accounts by developing and implementing effective resolution strategies in alignment with the VP, Wholesale.

Sales Support:

  • Strategize with external sales reps to support their growth and provide necessary marketing assets and supplies.
  • Prepare for key account meetings and support the VP of Wholesale with required selling materials, including the development of strategic selling points and presentations.

Onboarding and Training:

  • Oversee new dealer onboarding with operations, ensuring the development and implementation of effective onboarding strategies in alignment with the VP, Wholesale.

Market Launch Support:

  • Prepare for market launch by gathering all materials and information for in-season wholesale go-to-market meetings.

Professionalism and Representation:

  • Display professionalism with individuals at all levels inside and outside the organization, acting as a company representative while building and maintaining relationships and upholding an optimal company image.

Retail Performance Understanding:

  • Develop an understanding of retail performance management, analyzing and interpreting performance data to help the VP, Wholesale make informed strategic decisions.

REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-5 years of experience in apparel sales.
  • Strong technical and commercial acumen (NetSuite, Elastic, NuOrder, SPS, etc.).
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to an expanding and rapidly changing environment.
  • High degree of accuracy, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments with excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented and consistent.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic; a great team player who can also work independently and own their function, while exercising discretion and appropriate judgment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with retail performance management systems.
  • Experience in coordinating trade shows and events.
  • Familiarity with new dealer onboarding processes.
  • Experience working in a rapidly growing startup environment.
  • Background in marketing and product development.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • The Wholesale Sales Associate is expected to travel up to 20% of the time to attend national and regional trade shows, client meetings, and other relevant events as necessary.

SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS

  • May require some flexibility in scheduling, such as the ability to work evenings and weekends to meet deliverables.

WORKPLACE LOCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • We operate as a Hybrid work environment, working as a combination of remote and in-office presence.
