Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Window Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and window installation, with expertise in handling various tools and materials. This role involves working on-site to install windows and related fixtures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties • Install windows, doors, and other glass fixtures according to specifications. • Read and interpret plans and installation requirements. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various installation tasks. • Perform heavy lifting (above 40 lbs) during the installation process. • Conduct fabrication tasks as required for custom window installations. • Execute trim carpentry work, including door hanging and window trim work. • Apply caulking and sealants to ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing. • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and safe construction site. Requirements • Proven experience in construction with window and glass installation. • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to the installation process. • Strong understanding of construction estimating, fabrication, and manufacturing processes. • Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and practices. • Capability of performing heavy lifting (over 50 pounds) as required by the job duties. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work. • A positive attitude with strong communication skills for effective teamwork.
