Windows Crowd Strike Engineer

Job Description:
Responsible for tool and service designs within a technical domain that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. Primary contributor to the creation of infrastructure tools and their integration as an infrastructure service. Facilitates deployment of technical solution by developing templates, playbooks and automation to be used during implementation. Infrastructure Engineer II consistently looks for opportunities to improve the reliability and efficiency when implementing and maintaining infrastructure tools and/or services. This engineer embraces the culture that drives innovation and continuous improvement.
Position Summary
Senior level Endpoint Detection and Response Engineering role. This position will require certifying new agent versions, setting up connectivity to cloud services, and certify/deploy an endpoint agent across multiple Windows Server versions.
Required Skills

• Web Servers - Windows. Candidates must have 5+ years of experience working in Security Engineering or consulting, with an emphasis on server security and threat analytics. They must also have at least 3+ years of experience working with Crowdstrike Falcon.
• The position requires knowing the Windows Server platform extremely well (2016 - 2022) and being able to diagnose and resolve issues caused by endpoint agents.
• Candidates will serve as a product expert and may be called on by support teams for assistance in diagnosing issues.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) is required.

Desired Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• Desired skills include Windows server automation, QA, performance testing and software distribution/patching experience using Tanium.
• Must be proficient in PowerShell scripting, and able to automate testing of endpoint agents for performance and compatibility.

Jersey City pay range:
$90,000 - $135,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
