Windows Engineer

Flow Traders are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Windows Engineer to join our growing Technology team in APAC. Windows Engineers at Flow Traders administer and support the existing Windows based environment and also plan, design, and deploy new systems that the business requires to maintain our high performing and fast paced trading environment.

What You Will Do / Key Responsibilities

• Administer the APAC Active Directory infrastructure including integration with AzureAD
• Manage the existing Windows server deployments in APAC
• Administer all aspects of a hybrid Exchange Online / on-premise solution
• Support and maintain an SCCM infrastructure of deployments and updates
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell
• Resolve technical issues within the APAC region, and supporting US and EMEA regions during APAC hours
• Provide technical support to Windows desktop users
• Implement and enforce security best practices for Windows systems, Azure AD, and Exchange Online

What You Need to Succeed

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
• Operation and maintenance of Windows Server 2019 and 2022
• Strong experience with Active Directory and Azure AD is a must
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects
• A strong background of automating tasks using PowerShell (or similar)
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate complex technical subjects to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• An ability to see solutions to problems that others do not see, demonstrating a history of creatively solving difficult problems
• Experience with Active Directory domain migrations would be a benefit
