Windows Engineer with Linux Admin Experience

• MUST LEGALLY BE ABLE TO SUPPORT SERVERS THAT HOST GOVERNMENT AND LEGAL ENTITIES.
• MUST BE WILLING TO WORK ANY SHIFT, INCLUDING 40 HOURS/WEEK ON NIGHT SHIFT.

Linux (Red Hat / CentOS)

• System administration activities (build, support, manage, patch, break / fix, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, etc.)
• Linux Clustering

Solaris

• System administration activities (build, support, manage, patch, break / fix, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, etc.)
• Solaris Clustering
• Solaris virtualization technologies (LDOM / CDOM / Containers)
• Oracle RAC
• High availability solutions

AIX

• System administration activities (build, support, manage, patch, break / fix, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, etc.)
• Clustering
• LPAR virtualization technologies
• GPFS

Windows

• System administration activities (build, support, manage, patch, break / fix, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, etc.)
• Knowledge of Windows Clustering
• Knowledge of hardware systems and network infrastructure
• Knowledge of AD and GPOs
• Unix/Linux/Windows Certification is Highly Preferred
• Additional familiarity on the following technologies preferred:
• -SAN (Storage Area Networks)
• -Moogsoft
• -AIOps
• -Network Concepts
• -SRE (Site Reliability Engineer)
• -Familiarity with modern operating systems and server platforms

• Work in a 7X24X365 support model - Shift Work Required including working nights
• Most common Shift Schedule: 3 - 11.5 hrs per days/nights and 1 - 5.5 hr day/night (includes Weekends and Holidays)
