Salary: $110,000 - $130,000

We are seeking a Windows/Linux Systems Administrator to serve as systems support for multiple programs. As a system administrator, you will be responsible for the supporting implementation, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of information systems and space assets operating within both Windows and Linux environments. You will be required to possess relevant experience in the installation, configuration, and administration of Windows/Linux based systems both in a virtual and on-prem environment. This position will be for cleared work.

We are seeking a Windows/Linux Systems Administrator to serve as systems support for multiple programs. As a system administrator, you will be responsible for the supporting implementation, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of information systems and space assets operating within both Windows and Linux environments. You will be required to possess relevant experience in the installation, configuration, and administration of Windows/Linux based systems both in a virtual and on-prem environment. This position will be for cleared work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance across systems and platforms both virtual and physical
- Support architecture improvements to ensure continuity of operations for mission essential functions across a variety of programs
- Test/administer system-level updates, patches, and backups on routine schedule
- Configure devices IAW DoD DISA STIG requirements and validate configurations routinely to ensure system operability
- Ensure availability and scalability of Windows/Linux servers and applications
- Provide support and maintenance on server hardware, including RAID configuration
- Configure and monitor system performance to support capacity planning/disaster recovery efforts
- Maintain system and user-level backups and ensure proper configuration of systems to support backup and recovery processes
- Test system and user-level backups IAW system continuous monitoring requirements
- Create and maintain user and computer accounts and modify file permissions and access lists per system policy and mission needs
- Develop and document technical processes and procedures as required
- Collaborate with mission operations personnel to support routine optimization of systems
- Collaborate with Information Assurance (IA) teams to ensure system security compliance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Secret DoD security clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience. Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience in similar role will be reviewed if no degree present.
- Demonstrated experience in Windows/Linux operating systems
- Experience with virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.)
- Experience in Bash, PowerShell, or other scripting languages for task automation
- Experience with container technology to include Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- Experience in Windows Server System Administration
- Ability to troubleshoot system errors/outages quickly/efficiently with minimal downtime
- Available to flex core business hours and navigate between office locations as needed
