Link Solutions Inc. is seeking aĀ Windows System Administrator (Associate-Level)Ā to join our team inĀ Tucson, AZ.
- Must be a US CitizenĀ
- Must have DoD Top Secret Clearance
- Non-remoteĀ (relocation incentiveĀ available)
The Windows System Administrator will support the Air National Guardās Unmanned Aerial Vehicle operations as part of a diverse team managing a globally distributed information system. This role involves the analysis, administration, and maintenance of data communication networks.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier I & IIĀ support to a global information system.
- ManageĀ the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.
- Configure, manageĀ and maintain servers within a VMWare virtualized environment.
- Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.
- SetĀ up administrator and service accounts.
- MaintainĀ system documentation.
- InteractĀ with users and evaluate vendor products.
- MakeĀ recommendations to purchase hardware/software, coordinate installation, and provide backup recovery.
- DevelopĀ and monitorĀ policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
- DevelopĀ and implementĀ testing strategies and document results.
- ProvideĀ advice and training to end-users.
- ProvideĀ guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members.
- Provide local on-call/call-back touch labor support.
- Participates in special projects as required.
- Maintain/apply STIGs and patches/firmware updates.
- Maintains email and database server.

Qualifications
- US CitizenĀ
- Must have Top Secret clearance.
- One (1+) year of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.Ā
- IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security Training,Ā CySA+,Ā GICSP,Ā GSEC) equivalent or higher.
- Computing Environment certification in either Windows Server, ACAS, HBSS, or similar technology within 6 months of hire.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in VMWare NSX or CISCO VXLAN.
Preferred:
- BA/BS degree inĀ Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts.
- IAT Level III Certification equivalent or higher perĀ DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, etc.).
- Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) servers experience.
- Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
- Problem solver and troubleshooterĀ who thrives in resolvingĀ complex problems.
- Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
- Experience providing quality service and support for mission-critical systems and VIP end users.Ā
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.Ā
- Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
