Windows System Administrator – Senior
Job Description
Coho Technology Solutions is seeking a Windows System Administrator – Senior who will be responsible for Support Computer Assisted Personnel Interview (CAPI) Branch in development and production of Windows 10 Operating System (OS) support, system integration and Microsoft® Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Pre-Boot Execution (PXE) imaging/provisioning solutions. Using cross-trained staff, assist ADSD IT Specialists in Systems Integration, Device Imaging & Provisioning, IT Architecture & Systems Security and Production Support & Maintenance. Position supports the Census Field Application Services (FAS) contract. Position is initially 100% remote but may require 1-2 days per week onsite as advised.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

- Expertise with managing Windows 10 Enterprise for remote users who reach back to the Census network over VPN
- Experience with remote SCCM deployments to a Windows 10 environment
- Laptop Pre-Boot Execution (PXE) boot imaging
- PowerShell scripting
- Group Policy administration
- Windows Networking as there could be many times communication needs to occur with the networking team
- Ability to provide written weekly and monthly activity reports containing a summary of significant activities, outstanding issues and/or problems Â
- Office 365 Application Administration
- Hardware / Software Management
- Maintains quality service by following organizational standards
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Requirements:
- Clearance:
- Public Trust
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Master of Information Systems or equivalent in structured training
- Required Skills/ Qualifications:
- Experiences administering Microsoft Operating Systems for Government use including experience in PXE Boot imaging, PowerShell, and Group Policy.
- Windows Servers in a virtual environment
- Microsoft Intune
- MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Previous experience in laptop provisioning/imaging
- 5+ years in Information Technology field
- Desired Skills/ Qualifications:
- SCCM, MCP, MCSE, MCSA, MCIT certifications are a plus.
- Previous federal agency consultant experience supporting Microsoft SCCM
- Pre-Boot Execution (PXE), Windows Image development, and PowerShell desired
- Software engineering experience within Federal agencies
