Position Summary:
The Window Systems Administrator provides L1/L2 support on Intel based System administration and troubleshooting Skills for Windows Servers and Virtual Environment (e.g., VMWare and Windows Servers).
System Maintenance/ Administration:
- Perform Intel based system hardware and software installs, patch installations, upgrades and maintenance
- Monitor and maintain related /OS performance tuning of Intel based systems
- Perform daily administration tasks (e.g., add, change, delete, file system and disk space management, back-ups and file restore)
- Coordinate and perform regularly scheduled preventive maintenance
- On call and Weekend Support installation and removal of physical servers in NJ
Development:
- Develop effective and efficient hardware and network configurations.
- Develop, document and implement policies, standards and operating procedures.
- Create disaster recovery plans.
Support:
- Interact with DP, other systems staff or vendors in complex testing, operational support and troubleshooting system problems
- Provide architectural guidance on standards and procedures for the efficient use of resources.
- Consult on software and hardware acquisition
- Provide production and development systems support (including off hours support on a rotating basis)
Qualifications include:
- 2+ years Intel based systems. Windows Servers administration experience
- BS in Computer Science or related area
- Basic knowledge of Windows Servers
- Basic knowledge of Virtualization platforms (VMware/ESXi/vCenter)
- Basic knowledge of Enterprise Hardware (Lenovo/xClarity/Chassis)
- Basic knowledge of Storage (SAN/NAS)
- Basic knowledge of Networking
- Basic knowledge of Scripting Powershell and PowerCLI
- Basic knowledge of Backup software (Tivoli/Veam)
- Experience with Windows OS installation, configuration, upgrades, securities, and file system management
- Experience with VMware performance monitoring and analysis
- Communication skills - both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving skills

BBH's compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $120,000, which is specific to Jersey City, NJ and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role.
