Winter 2025 Full Stack Software Engineer Intern

We are looking for an intern with full-stack experience to help us design and build a web tool that uses timelines and histograms to support the debugging of missing messages in run logs from our autonomous vehicles. The person in this role must understand the fundamentals of modern web technology (e.g., React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS) and must have experience in creating reliable and intuitive web applications.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with Software Engineering, Software Quality, and Operations to understand end user requirements
- Analyze the requirements and design a proposed solution. Present this design to colleagues
- Implement the solution in React, TypeScript and Python, Node.js, and/or C/C++
- Provide user documentation and/or training materials for end users.
Qualifications:
- Field(s) of study: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields
- Will consider graduate students at any stage of their Master's or Ph.D. studies
- Strong technical background as evidenced by BS, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline
- 2+ years of experience building web applications with scalability and performance
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
- Strong knowledge of React, TypeScript, Python or Node.js (C/C++ is optional)Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling
- Good communicator; you must be capable of writing clear and concise documentation.
Internship Program Details:
- Start Date: January 2025.
- Our internship program is 12-16 weeks; the end date is flexible based on individual needs.
- Location: Mountain View, CA
- Housing: interns are responsible for housing.

The salary range for this intern position is $9,000 - $10,000 . Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We can share more about the specific salary range for your job level during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details listed above are base salary only and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
