Wire EDM Machinist - 2nd shift

We have an immediate opening for a Machinist that has Wire EDM Experience. This role is a 2nd shift position. Job Responsibilities: • Operate and program Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment to produce precision parts and components • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements • Set up and adjust Wire EDM machines for optimal performance and accuracy • Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and precision • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on Wire EDM equipment • Verify dimensions of finished parts using precision measuring instruments • Collaborate with engineers and other machinists to improve processes and solve technical challenges • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols • Document work processes and maintain accurate records of production activities • Stay updated on the latest Wire EDM technologies and machining techniques • Train and mentor junior machinists as needed • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality Skills Required: • Proven experience as a Wire EDM Machinist or in a similar role • Proficiency in operating and programming Wire EDM machines • Strong knowledge of CNC programming and G-code • Excellent understanding of metallurgy and material properties • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications • Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work • Good communication and teamwork abilities • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is beneficial • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or relevant certifications are preferred Benefits: After a probation period, benefits below are available. • Competitive salary commensurate with experience • Health, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) retirement plan with company match • Paid time off and holidays If you have these qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply to the position and upload your resume. #INDOS5
