We are looking for a Wireless Solutions Engineer to provide technical support to customers on all aspects of Cisco Wireless technology. Global Financial Services, Healthcare or Pharmaceutical experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications / Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to customers on all aspects of Cisco Wireless technology
• Design and implement Cisco wireless solutions for plants and warehouses to meet their specific needs
• Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless systems to ensure optimal performance
• Collect and analyze wireless survey data in the field, ensuring that the RF survey requirements are being met
• Understanding of WLC and Access point models WLAN Controller configuration and tuning
• Experience in manufacturing and warehouse environments
• Experience with Ekahau site survey software

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline required.
• 5+ years implementing and supporting Wireless networking solutions with Cisco and Aruba hardware
• Experience with Cisco 9800, 8500 and 5500 WLC’s.

• Familiarity with Real Time Location Systems (RTLS) tracking/ RFID tags
• Knowledge of 802.11a/g/n/ac Cisco WLC, CAPWAP, LWAPP; be able to use tools such as Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Ekahau, AirMagnet suite to design and support WLANS.
• Knowledge of L2/L3 and wireless security features including Access-lists, WPA/WPA2, CCKM, AES-CCMP, CCKM, 802.1X/EAP, PEAP, RADIUS and TACACS.
• Hands-on experience and well versed in utilizing networking tools and applications, such as Cisco Works, Solarwinds, CA.
• Active Cisco Certifications CWNA, CWNP, CWNE, CCNA Wireless, CCNP Wireless, CCIE Wireless – preferred but NOT required
• Collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive solutions
• Stay current with the latest developments in Cisco Wireless technology and industry trends
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
