Title: WMS Implementation Manager, Strategic Projects (internal titile: Merchant Plus Implementation Manager)

Location: Remote. Driving distance from one of our core facilities (Cicero, IL, Moreno Valley, CA, Bethlehem, PA, Dallas, TX) is preferred.

Role Description:

We are hiring a WMS Implementation Manager, Strategic Projects, who will join ShipBob's global Strategic Projects team. You will be responsible for helping our merchant facilities launch on the ShipBob platform and oversee new startup functions including project planning, project management, systems training and equipment set up for warehousing operations.

This role will build solid partnerships with ShipBob's merchant sites by understanding their unique needs and facilitating their success within ShipBob's dashboard and suite of fulfillment services.

What you'll do:

• Help in project planning and site design for merchant facilities.
• Consultation: Understand eCommerce merchant needs and adapt building launch plans to ensure successful integration and launch.
• Serve as a first point of contact and own successful launch in the implementation phase.
• Under the direction of the SVP of Strategic Projects, work to create detailed launch action plans to hit launch dates and success metrics.
• Configuration: Implement Specific Measures for Success.
• Set up the dashboard and services to accomplish the goals of the merchant sites.
• Responsible for site layout, equipment set-up, and training of merchant's staff in conjunction with ShipBob support teams.
• Training: Coach and Guide Merchant's to Success.
• Set up tailored training sessions for all stakeholders based on merchant needs and specific dashboard configuration and functionality.
• Prepare reference material in line with training to encourage self-service and seamless interaction with ShipBob's dashboard and services.
• Troubleshoot: Find and Course-Correct.
• Own the relationship for 0-30 days to handle all questions, requests, and issues related to onboarding at ShipBob as a merchant partner site.
• Adoption: Push merchant use of Key ShipBob Features and Tools/Dashboard.
• Bridge Shipbob's merchant's objectives with ShipBob's capabilities to steer use of key functions and features of operational WMS and SOP's.
• Perform: Nail Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• SLAs: Help merchants achieve all key metrics (KPIs and SLAs) which foster a world class merchant experience.
• On-Task: Perform all necessary tasks during the implementation phase to ensure the merchant site is successfully launched.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.

What you'll bring to the table:

• Ability to travel up to 70% as assigned sites are launching, both domestically and internationally.
• Minimum 6-10 years of operations, e-commerce fulfillment experience, and managing new teams and setting them up for success.
• 3+ years of experience in opening new building sites and teams.
• Patience: Knack for teaching and helping our merchant's ensure adoption of ShipBob SOP's, tools, and WMS systems.
• Ability to consistently assess partner site needs and driving solutions to meet those needs along with connecting partners to right resources within ShipBob.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft office tools, specifically with Excel.
• Ability to create and read CAD drawings to review building layouts.
