What is the Women's Conference at Grant Thornton?

During this fast-paced 2 day event, you will have the opportunity to participate in interactive sessions surrounding your development as a young female professional including marketing your key attributes to employers, developing a strong work-life balance, and learning to advocate for yourself in a competitive marketplace.

You can expect to network with outstanding female leaders in public accounting, and through discussion, share ideas and collaborate on the challenges and advantages of female business leaders today. In fostering these relationships, participants will be energized to return to classes to enhance community involvement, nail internship interviews, and feel more determined in pursuit of their career ambitions.

The conference will take place in Boston, MA, and is open to candidates located throughout the Northeast region.

Skill Requirements:

  • Actively pursuing a career in Business; specifically in the fields of Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems
  • Involvement in business, accounting, finance, or professional women's organizations on campus is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical aptitude and skillset
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex team environment

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree
