WordPress Developer

We are looking for a skilled WordPress developer from anywhere in Latin America to implement attractive and functional features and improvements on our client's organic content property. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the crafting sophisticated web solutions and integrating RESTful APIs to enhance functionality and connectivity.

You will be working in an agile environment, with an awesome team on the implementation of world-class software products.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and refine requirements, design, and functionality for projects within the WordPress ecosystem.
• Develop and implement new features from end to end, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Design and develop custom themes and plugins tailored to specific business needs.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to enhance website functionality and connectivity.
• Monitor and improve SEO performance to ensure the website ranks well in search engines.
• Conduct website performance tests and implement strategies for optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve content and technical issues efficiently.
• Work on real-world problems that directly impact the lives of our users, making positive changes to their health and well-being.

What You'll Bring to the Team

• 5+ years of engineering experience with a focus on the WordPress ecosystem, including PHP and MySQL.
• Strong background in writing understandable, testable, and efficient code for WordPress custom theme and plugin development.
• Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools.
• Strong understanding of website architecture, aesthetics, and user experience.
• Ability to manage and deliver projects effectively.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5.
