Workday Finance Systems Analyst

The Workday Financial Analyst is responsible for the maintenance, administration, and support of financial system and ancillary systems, in alignment with financial programs, goals, and initiatives. This position will collaborate with business partners to identify, recommend and implement system improvements and enhancements, including reporting, dashboards, integrations and configuration changes.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with functional leads to ensure business processes and system configuration are aligned to internal controls.
• Continuously identify and work with Finance & Accounting business owners to implement system and workflow improvement opportunities that align with department goals.
• Design and maintain testing strategies for continuous improvement during new release cycles; maintain documentation of new features and functionality.
• Troubleshoot system problems, determine root cause, and implement solutions.
• Integration of financial systems with other business applications and tools.
• Develop dashboards and reports.
• Contribute to the maintenance and accuracy of systems, data, in the form of data loads and audits.
• Develop end user training, user guides, and documentation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3 - 5 years of Workday Financials experience.
• Working knowledge of finance and accounting business practices.
• Workday configuration expertise in Core Financials, Financial Accounting and Business processes is required
• Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting skills

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically in a cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)
