The Workday Financial Integration Developer will report to the Financial System Manager based out of our downtown Chicago IL headquarters. This role will ultimately be responsible for the healthy and upkeep of the finance related integrations configured in Workday including but not limited to customer/supplier, AR, AP and Banking. Job responsibilities will include working on enhancements to existing integrations/reports, building new integrations/reports, troubleshooting and resolving production issues and general upkeep of the environment. They will be an active member of a technology team that is responsible for the overall health of data flowing into and out of the financial platform. The ideal candidate for this role not only acts quickly with a sense of urgency but has experience owning a suite of financial integrations that are built within the Core Financial Module, Accounting Center and Prism.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design, build, test & deployment of new/enhanced Workday financial integration solutions using a myriad of integration methods (EIBs, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, Boomerang Integration)
• Become a critical team member in the active initiative to implement Workday financial (includes Core Financials, Accounting Center & Prism) ramping up quickly on in-flight integrations
• Document and maintain artifacts around financial integrations, dependencies and reporting requirements
• Provide ongoing production support for financial integrations by conducting detailed root cause analysis that leads to timely issue resolution
• Demonstrate experience in finance related integrations in areas including Banking & Settlement, Supplier & Customer accounts, AR/AP, Financial Reporting
• Work closely with Echo's Finance, Accounting and IT teams to plan and execute against new Workday related initiatives or enhancements
• Participate in M&A assessments & gap analysis around potential acquisitions to determine Workday integration requirements
• Engage with third party vendors as needed on planned integrations or to support and maintain existing integrations
  

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of Workday Finance Integrations Experience
• 3+ years of experience integrating systems with third-party service vendors
• Experience with various Workday Integration methods EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio & BIRT
• Advanced skills with Web Services, SQL, JSON, .Net
• Experience creating Workday custom reports and calculated fields
• Accounting Center and Prism Analytics experience is preferred
• Strong communication skills are required
• Strong understanding of Workday security
• Experience working with or leading Agile teams
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Workday certification is required
