Who You'll Work With
Slalom Emerge helps accelerate partnerships, support specific practice areas, and scale high-demand and cutting-edge capabilities. Our People & Finance Innovation team is dedicated to bringing a people first mindset to HR and Finance related transformations at all of Slalom's clients.
This role is within Slalom's Workday AMS & Advisory practice inside of People & Finance Innovation. Our integration architects work in partnership with both end Workday customers to help them maximize their Workday investments, and independent software providers who wish to build sustainable connections to Workday for all their customers. As an integration architect you will serve as a subject matter expert in a variety of strategic and high-impact projects, guiding clients from strategic planning to implementation and sustainment. You will support the selection of the correct frameworks to support client integration objectives, help teams understand Workday integration patterns and practices, be the general go to for how to connect anything to Workday, and help troubleshoot integration problems from internal and external development teams.
What You'll Do
• Scope Integration Architecture projects, for example understanding the number of hours it would take to help advise an external development team who would like to build 3 connections to Workday.
• Works with clients to understand strategic objectives related to their technology landscape
• Act as a client advocate and trusted adviser
• Lead developers from our integration team or the clients as they build and code integrations in their preferred middleware
• Create strategies to drive adoption of the best Workday technologies
• Architect solutions to complex problems and ensure that the overall technology strategy meets the client objectives.
• Collaborate across Slalom practices and offices to deliver a holistic and coordinated solution
• Participate in sales processes doing discovery of client needs, detailed scoping working, and presenting our overall approach to projects
• Mentor our team members to help them achieve maximum potential
• Ability to travel up to 20%
What You'll Bring
• 5+ years of Workday integration experience
• Experience leading a full Workday implementation from a consulting capacity
• Strong competency with Workday subject area (HCM or Finance)
• Ability to lead strategic discussions with executive stakeholders
• Proven ability to multi-task and handle various projects simultaneously to drive timely results
• Ability to understand code and coding patterns often used in integrations
• Proven ability to influence a wide variety of audiences, including technical and business clients, HR functions, and all levels of employees
• Ability to see around corners thinking about both the big picture and individual needs
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
