Workday Integration Owner

The Role 

This is a full-time role based in Dallas, with the opportunity to work remote. As a Workday Integration Owner on the Engineering team, you will manage and deliver solutions to meet the constantly evolving need of our HCM, Engineering, and Accounting teams related to all downstream applications and systems such as EMa, ADP, Okta, and more. 

This role will support an in-progress finance technology Workday implementation project, as well as work with supporting new and live Workday HCM Integrations based on the business’ requirements. This person will serve as the primary Workday HCM Integration Owner and will be responsible for the continuous improvement of implemented workflows within our HCM applications along with providing some support within the Workday financial functional area. This role will allow the individual to work in the Engineering department while gaining exposure to other parts of the business working with the Dev, HCM, and Financials teams.  

Core Responsibilities 

• Serve as functionally aligned partner responsible for building and maintaining Workday based HCM and Financial Integrations.
• Work in brainstorming ways to automate different applications to and from Workday with the Engineering, Workday and HCM teams
• Develop, communicate, and continuously refine product roadmap, data, customization and process requirements to meet evolving needs of our users and enable continuous improvement of their workflows
• Troubleshoot and improve, if needed, current and previously built integrations
• Build a deep and thorough understanding of users’ domains, including business processes, responsibilities, and priorities
• Translate desired business outcomes into functional design solutions within Workday and downstream related applications
• Research, prototype and launch new and/or enhanced functionality delivered by Workday in their semi-annual releases or new requirements that can automate a process requested by the business.
• Provide specifications for developers and work closely with them during the software development lifecycle
• Work closely with the Workday Product Owner and the rest of the Workday team and provide specification on requirements in order to accommodate the business structure and automation.

Preferred 

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Technology) 
• Candidates should ideally possess 3+ years of Workday Integration experience
• Experience within the Financial Industry, with Workday or software implementation experience
• Ability and desire to educate and translate complex Workday integration concepts to the Engineering team
• Thorough understanding of system driven consolidation and reporting with demonstrated track record of developing solutions for sophisticated, international enterprises
• Experience operating in an agile environment
