Workday Reporting Specialist-Remote Eligible Summary:
The WorkdayReporting Specialist is responsible for all work activities associated with thedesign, build, test, and deployment of Workday reports, including management ofthe review and sign off process with Workday Functional Leads and businesssubject matter experts (SMEs). This position will work with the TalentAnalytics Manager to understand the proposed design of the Workday solution andthe impact to providing reports to users. This position works with FunctionalLeads / SMEs to gather reporting requirements for all reports and build newcustom reports using standard Workday reporting functionality- Report Writer,Calculated Fields, Dashboards, and Discovery Boards. The role includesanalyzing Workday delivered reports to determine whether current reports can beleveraged/configured or whether new custom reports are required. The rolewill also help to establish reporting standards and support data governance.

Essential Duties:
- Workday HCM reportcreation, maintenance, and optimization
- Requirementsgathering, build, test and debug Workday HCM reports & Dashboards
- Analyze andtranslate functional specifications and change requests into technicalspecifications
- Create reports outof HCM and other database systems as required by internal stakeholders
- Prepare HR metricsto be presented upon request or on schedule by senior leadership
- Review reports andcalculated fields regularly to optimize performance
- Document reportfunctionality and design to facilitate ongoing maintenance
- Providetroubleshooting and support for report execution failures
- Develop and modifyadvanced reports for internal human resources and people leaders using WorkdayReport Writer
- Research new Workdayreporting & analytics features and functionality to determine how best tomeet user needs
- Support Workday'sbiannual releases through impact analysis to changes to Workday's data modeland create reports and dashboards to aid in identification of populations forrelease testing
- HCM reportinggovernance, support, and education
- Participate inreport reviews, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacystandards
- Partner with WorkdaySecurity team to maintain data and privacy standards
- Work closely withother members of the Workday functional team and serve as a subject matterexpert for others regarding reporting and calculated fields
- Provide HCM datasupport for Human Resources staff, all associate end-users, and members ofsenior leadership
- Maintain proficiencyand level of knowledge with all talent systems
- Assists with thesupport of all aspects of Human Resources as it relates to data requests,including but not limited to EEO-1, Affirmative Action Plan, and benefitscensus
- Participate indelivery of reporting training
- Train users onWorkday reporting functions and available reports
- Follow establishedstandards and change management processes including report documentation
- Other duties asassigned
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degreeand a minimum of three years of experience, including business analyst andproject management experience, or an equivalent combination of education andexperience
TECHNICAL/SOFTSKILLS PREFERRED:
- Proficient inWorkday reporting including Calculated Fields, Advanced, Matrix, Trending andComposite
- Demonstratedknowledge of Workday dashboards, worksheets, and embedded analytics
- SQL knowledge
EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:
- Experience withWorkday HCM
- Demonstrated abilityto conduct high level needs analysis and produce reporting and data analysis
- Background inidentifying, designing, testing, and deploying reports in an ERP system
- Background inunderstanding HCM data that could be used in building reports
- Human Resourcesand/or recruiting functional background, ideally in Public Accounting orsimilar Professional services firms
- Workday ReportWriting certifications
- Aptitude in learningand mastering report writing tools
- Knowledge ofcommonly used reports for Recruiting, Human Resources, Compensation, Payrolland Benefits
- Proficient withMicrosoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint required)
- Ability to create aconsolidated report by combining data from multiple data sources
- Strong problemsolving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Ability toprioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-upand resolution
- Demonstrated abilityto plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities
- Strong written andoral communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
PREFERRED:
- 2+ years of WorkdayReport Writer and/or Workday Prism Analytics experience
- Workday PRISM, BIRT,Worksheets and Advanced reporting experience
