Workday Senior Technical Consultant (Remote)

As a Workday Senior Technical Consultant, you’ll have the opportunity to: 

• Participate in implementation projects working directly with key business and IT stakeholders to confirm requirements, consider design alternatives, facilitate discussions and drive requirements sign-off  
• Evaluate, communicate and coordinate the technical impacts of application configuration decisions  
• Create detailed system interface specifications, field mapping, and system process designs  
• Develop, test and deploy integrations required to meet business requirements  
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and educate clients on developing and operating interfaces to and from a SaaS platform  
• Lead team members to achieve agreed upon timelines for deliverables, while creating team culture and delegating effectively  
• Implement performance improvement and cost-reduction initiatives  
• Expand relationships within client organization  
• Anticipate, escalate, and propose solutions for service and quality issues  
• Set deliverable structure and content while producing “client-ready” deliverables  
• Confidently and credibly propose solutions to problems and improvements to clients’ existing processes/plans  
• Identify and deploy approach for projects that require sophisticated analysis  
• Help project team resolve complex and/or multi-faceted issues  
• Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices 
• Conduct sessions with customers to analyze business requirements and provide solutions to complex business problems 
• Manage account communication with key customer users 
• Coordinate operations meeting/requests and priorities and SLAs 
• Become a Workday expert with deep knowledge of core functionality and future product direction 
• Mentor other consultants and actively share product knowledge with others to grow our practice 

 
We’re looking for someone with:  

• Strong experience solutioning and developing complex studio integrations 
• Preferable experience in either Prism, Extend or Reporting
• 2 + years of consulting or automated data transformation experience 
• Strong ability to demonstrate the creation of innovative solutions for technical problems 
• Experience working to develop requirements and format data to meet the export/import requirements as defined by system rules 
• Experience defining system strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, data conversion and implementing business process improvements 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with diverse people and across multiple levels 
• Ability to effectively evaluate, communicate and coordinate the technical impacts of application configuration decisions 
• Aptitude to create detailed design documentation including, field mapping, and system process designs 
• Solid experience within developing, testing and deploying integrations 

Ability to travel infrequently (approximately 10%)
