Workday Specialist
Job Description
We are looking for a Workday Specialist to join our expanding global team. We use Workday to support our global Infrastructure and Technology teams, and its flexibility and performance are critical for the firmβs success. You will help support our payroll and human capital management (HCM) system administration and maintenance, with a particular focus on finding ways to Β scale and optimize processes by automating Workday tasks and information.
We are a global team which means day-to-day work will include providing support and enhancements for our overseas office. Additional responsibilities of this role will include:
- Providing daily technical and operational support for Workday Payroll and HCM
- Assisting with system queries and issue resolution related to Payroll and HCM, including payroll processing, pay component configurations, pay groups, general ledger, costing allocations, security rules, and reporting
- Maintaining system workflows and business process approval chains
- Helping to develop and maintain custom reports and dashboard capabilities to support questions and requests from the business
- Establishing appropriate auditing and monitoring data to ensure accuracy
- Collaborating with other teams to gather business requirements, design and implement solutions, conduct testing, and ensure successful release and user adoption
- Recommending ways to improve and innovate across the Workday platform; partnering with technical counterparts and business experts to identify integrations that support the automation of processes and data flow
- 1-3 years of Workday Payroll and HCM experience; experience with UK payroll is a plus
- We are open to this new team member working out of our London or New York office. If working out of NY, you will need to be flexible to support UK working hours
- Understands system design, configuration, and administration with an emphasis in UK payroll, benefits, absence, and time tracking
- Knowledgeable in system integrations and ensuring proper data flow to other systems
- Experienced with reporting tools and security configuration within Workday
- Self-starter with sound judgment; takes initiative while keeping others informed as appropriate
- Can handle competing priorities in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented and organized with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team player who is collaborative and flexible in nature
- Mature, trustworthy, and discreet, with an appreciation for the importance of confidentiality in this role
- Fluency in English required
