Workday Technical Architect (Remote)

A Day in the Life:

As a Workday Technical Architect, you will lead the technical workstream by managing delivery of Workday integrations, extend, reporting and prism projects. You will have ownership of architecting, designing and building roadmaps for customers while directing Consultants within the technical workstream and managing cross-functional impacts with other domain leads. This role will allow you to coach others in their consulting career while helping clients develop a strong plan and design for their Workday system. The Technical Architect role will also support internal initiatives as we develop our business, improve tools and offerings, and grow our team.  

Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Have developed project, industry, and Workday experience to guide project scope, requirements gathering  design, gtesting commitments with a client.  
• Be a partner for the Project Manager and Delivery Sponsor for planning and project updates.  
• Proactively work with other areas of the project to develop solutions for requirements, planning challenges.   
• An Integrations Architect will not simply advocate for the workstream but instead will look to develop the best solution for the project, client, and Skillcentrix overall.  
• Evaluate, communicate and coordinate the technical impacts of application configuration decisions  
• Create detailed system interface specifications, field mapping, and system process designs  
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and educate clients on developing and operating interfaces to and from a SaaS platform  
• Lead team members to achieve agreed upon timelines for deliverables, while creating team culture and delegating effectively  
• Confidently and credibly propose solutions to problems and improvements to clients’ existing technical landscape 
• Assist in budgetary accountability for their projects.  
• Ability to aid in project-specific staffing decisions  
• Demonstrate effective and flexible approaches to communicating with customers and team members. 
• Build relationships with project stakeholders 

Relevant skills and experience:  

• 5 + Years of Workday and/or 5-8 of Industry Experience  
• Ability to independently gather requirements, build, manage testing and deploying of all Workday integration types (EIB, connectors, studio, PI, etc.)  
• Experience in leading a team.  
• Prior consulting experience required.  

Ability to travel up to 20% (travel is infrequent but does happen from time to time)
