Job Description

The Lead Developer is responsible for overseeing the analysis, programming, and configuration of IT Systems Software. This job develops complex software components and advises developers on best methods of software development and code creation. While working with the leadership team, this job provides project leadership for software development activities.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Monitors development work to ensure resulting software meets established goals.
  • Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals.
  • Identifies and analyzes business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives for the IT System.
  • Oversees the configuration, customization, diagnoses, and enhancements for operating systems software.
  • Designs, codes and develops, and unit tests applications in accordance with established standards.
  • Performs detailed design and code reviews and addresses findings appropriately.

Workday Developers are responsible for overseeing the analysis, programming, and configuration of IT Systems Software. This unit develops complex software components and advises developers on best methods of software development and code creation.

Working with the leadership team, this job provides project leadership for software development activities. This is includes Workday HCM Integrations (Payroll, , Supporting enterprise class human capital management solutions (i.e. Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle Fusion, SAP, etc), full life cycle Workday integrations, and many more.

We're looking for a talented professional with experience in Coordinate with users to maintain testing plans to support reports and analytics for upgrades and releases. Collaborating with business users in establishing reports and dashboard standards and best practices.

We are looking to expand Workday's advanced reporting expertise and share expertise with less experienced reporting teammates and staying current with Workday product enhancements.

Potential Qualifications of a Successful Candidate

  • Proven experience (professional or otherwise) as a Workday developer
  • Deep understanding of core programming principles
  • Create and manage an array of dashboards to measure key performance indicators for Workday reports and analytics (report/dashboard performance, usage, errors, deprecated fields, etc.)
  • Critical and analytical thinking skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Excellent time management
  • Experience working as part of a development team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Project management experience

Base Pay Range: $115,700/yr. - $192,900/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
