Workday Testing Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the project team on Workday implementations through preparation, planning, and execution of Testing of the Workday system prior to implementation.
• Manage 1 - 5 small to large Workday product implementations in the Testing Manager role.
• Track and report on testing progress.
• Guide project team on development of test plans and impart Best Practices on Testing.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to other consultants. 
• Become an expert our Cynergy™ (Workday) Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements.
• Drive collaboration between QA and functional teams to maximize timely delivery of solutions
• Contribute to tools and project assets related to Workday testing. 
• Track issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate concerns appropriately, while working with the client project manager to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframes. 
• Work with Workday’s Delivery Assurance to ensure compliance with checkpoints.
• Assist in the transition of the customer from Professional Services to Product Support.
• Ensure the client can serve as a reference upon completing their implementation.
• Participate in the sales cycle when requested to gather requirements, formulate delivery approach, and develop a proposal/SOW.

Skills & Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in End-to-End medium to large ERP implementation testing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Previous Workday experience required
• Active Workday certification a plus
• Experience leading project teams in preparation, planning, and execution of Testing involving ERP systems prior to an implementation.
• A strong understanding of the principles of testing.
• In depth knowledge of formal testing methodologies.
• Testing Automation experience such as Tricentis (Tosca) or Turnkey (Rainier) preferred but not required.
• PMP and/or ISTQB Certification a plus.
• Knowledge in Security Test approach and audits is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with Automated Testing Solutions is a plus.
• Experience leading/working with an off-shore Testing team is a plus.
• Knowledge of formal defect management.
• Able to demonstrate an ability to provide test estimates and manage delivery to an agreed budget.
• Able to demonstrate an understanding of the test phase life cycle.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Expected travel between 25-50%.
