The Service Delivery Workforce Development Lead will coordinate and support our pre-onboarding, onboarding, and development program for our Service Delivery employees. You will act as host to Service Delivery new hires for their onboarding and training. You’ll be responsible for ensuring new employees receive proper training to meet their responsibilities successfully, track progress, and identify any issues with training methods and make suggestions for improvements as needed. Your duties will include training, scheduling, coordinating SME trainers, and overseeing all Service Delivery onboarding and training. You will also develop employees and leaders across all phases of their employment with Zayo.

Our ideal candidate understands Zayo’s culture and sales objectives and suggests ideas to achieve those objectives through sales training. For this position, you should combine excellent organization skills with an ability to interact with management, new hires as well as cross-functional team members.

 

Responsibilities

  • Act as host to new hires for their onboarding and training

  • Coordinate and manage all pre-onboarding / onboarding communication

  • Develop and deliver training on systems and Zayo processes and procedures

  • Create, manage, and distribute training schedule and calendars 

  • Ensure pre-onboarding logistics complete

  • Partner with and coordinate presenters from cross-functional to train new employees

  • Collect and report on feedback from trainees and managers about training content, engagement, instructor feedback and progress throughout the first 3 months

  • Assist with training tools and content

  • Provide internal training updates to the organization

  • Develop, enhance, and deliver training tools such as quizzes

  • Maintain updated training material, curricula and resources and suggest improvements

  • Conduct quarterly skills gap analyses to identify areas of improvement for employees across the entire organization

  • Coordinate and oversee development events for employees like on site visits, or technical training in partnership with our vendors

  • Provide administrative support regarding Workforce development programs and initiatives as needed

  • Report on training program effectiveness

  • Work with Senior Leadership to develop new leaders in the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent training experience

  • Salesforce experience desired

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to interact effectively with all personnel

  • Solid communication, presentation abilities, and highly responsive

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented

  • Ability to manage the full training cycle, including in-person activities

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and /or Google applications, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel/Google sheets

  • High energy with a strong work ethic

  • Pro-active autonomous yet comfortable teaming with others on various projects

  • Additional certification in training is a plus

  • Must be approachable and available in the Boulder office

Base pay range: $65,600-$87,500, commensurate with experience.
