Role Summary:
The Workforce Registry Specialist maintains Teachstone’s presence in State Registries and state level entities that house early childhood and after-school workforce professional development data. The Registry Specialist maintains Teachstone’s approved standing in individual states, and coordinates new membership applications and training/course submissions for approval in strategically identified new states and entities.Â
Role Overview:
Maintain approved registry status’ and coordinate new state and/or entity applications
- Maintain the health of Teachstone’s memberships in approved state registries
- Maintain the Teachstone-National Workforce Registry Alliance relationship
- Coordinate and/or complete application and renewal process for membership into state registries
- Partner with the Revenue Team to support state strategies
- Investigate new state registry membership opportunities
Project manage training and course submissions into approved registries
- Coordinate individual state and training submissions as the lead project manager
- Partner with the Professional Services team to submit approved trainers in requiring statesÂ
- Secure consultants as needed to provide SME support in state projects
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports and act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders
- Regularly reports specific ECE workforce data and needs assessment to Online Learning and Workforce Services Director to project training needs/demands and priorities (by high risk areas, by language or cultural needs, by varied modality of instruction, by credential or degree level, etc. Record participant attendanceÂ
- Support/coordinate participant training data completion entry into state platforms
- Other duties as needed to support Teachstone as the organization matures
- Builds strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- In close partnership with Sales and Services, develop in-depth knowledge of client needs and proactively provide best in class service and implementation solutions
Role Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required in education, early education, child development, educational leadership or workforce/teacher preparation
- Knowledge of early childhood field, general child care licensing, workforce development, training/technical assistance systems, and state QRIS systems
- Knowledge of early childhood education professional development and credentialing systems to include the Council for Professional Recognition’s CDA credentialing processÂ
- Experience with project management practices and tools to create, manage, and track project performance, cost, verify scope
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills both written and verbal
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, growing organizationÂ
- Works well independently and effectively functions as a member of a team
- Facilitates coordination of multiple tasks and manages a variety of projects simultaneously
- Succeeds in a cross-functional, collaborative role supporting other departments to help achieve organizational goals.

- Adept use of technology, including Microsoft Office Suite applications (expert in Excel), Google applications, Asana, and video and multimedia presentation tools
- Experience working with a Customer Relationship Management system (ex: Salesforce), Learning Management System (LMS), and Student Information System (SIS)
Role Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of Teachstone and the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS)
- Basic understanding of the Council for Professional Recognition’s CDA credentialing process
- Experience working with a Customer Relationship Management system (ex: Salesforce), Learning Management System (LMS), and Student Information System (SIS)
