Working Student Digital Marketing & PR

Position Summary

As a Working Student for our Marketing Communications department in the European headquarters of Samsung Semiconductor Europe, you will support Digital Marketing processes, such as looking after our intranet web page and creating content. You will also support our Event Management as well as Public Relations (PR) activities.

Role and Responsibilities

• You will support continuous professional and technical implementation of our company website and intranet by acting as an interface and working closely with internal- and external stakeholders
• You will develop concept, create and update local contents of Samsung Semiconductor Europe
• Up-to-date maintenance and continuous quality control by ensuring perfect functionality of the website and its performance monitoring
• Support EMEA Event management (planning process, preparations, reservations, operations support, postmortem analysis & reporting)
• Support EMEA Public Relations activities: collaborate to build a PR strategy, plan press/media activities, prepare press-kits, implement on-site PR activities at exhibitions and events, handle media inquiries, summarize PR report, etc.

Skills and Qualifications

• You are working towards or have finished Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or similar and you are currently enrolled in a study program
• Online/Digital Marketing or PR related work experience with a good understanding of media needs and media relationships
• First working experience in B2B- or semiconductor- or automotive- or high-tech industry or PR- or/and Digital Marketing agency
• Autonomous handling of MS Word, Excel and Power Point
• Fluent in English and German, Korean could be an asset
• Ability to do copy writing in English and sense of design lay-out for web page
• A positive, strong customer oriented and can-do attitude with high motivation and excellent time management
• Team player and great communication skills with various stakeholders
