Working Student (f/m/d) Data Science / Data Analytics - Munich on-site

Position Summary

As a working student for Data Science / Data Analytics you will work closely with our Quality team of System LSI division in the Munich office to ensure optimal collection, visualization and quality of data by utilizing your Python as well as Java knowledge.
System LSI is a division within Samsung Semiconductors Europe dedicated to enhancing cars with cutting-edge infotainment systems and sensors to ensure safe driving. You will support the Quality team that plays a pivotal role in supporting the R&D and industrial engineering teams by defining quality improvement priorities through rigorous monitoring and analysis of customer complaint data by making objective judgments and driving continuous improvement.

Role and Responsibilities

As a part of our team, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Developing a robust platform that facilitates optimal data collection and preparation from diverse data sources, employing Python programming languages.
• Collaborate with our team to understand database requirements and design data models using Transact-SQL.
• Implement and maintain database structures, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
• Develop and maintain ETL Processes using Python programming language.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate database solutions into various systems.

Skills and Qualifications

PROFILE

• Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
• Solid understanding of database concepts and experience with Transact-SQL, database management and familiar with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and PowerApps.
• Proficiency in programming languages, especially those relevant to automation (Python, SQL).
• Knowledge of ETL Processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Previous coursework or projects related to database management and automation is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills with Power Query and Data Modeling
• Ability to Work Independently
• Fluent in English (Both Spoken and Written).
