Position Overview:

As a Payroll & HR Account Executive at Worklio, you'll thrive in a fast-paced, competitive, and quota-driven environment, primarily targeting medium-sized companies. The most successful Account Executives are proactive hunters who create opportunities in the field and continually seek new sales. A consultative sales approach, exceptional prospecting skills, persistence (without being pushy), and a genuine passion for our offerings are key indicators of success.

While our corporate sales office is in Miami, Florida, we're actively seeking Payroll & HR Account Executives nationwide, and this role is fully remote from your home office.

Location: Remote office in the Greater MA territory

Reports To: SVP of Revenue

Responsibilities

  • Identify the needs of prospective customers for Payroll, Human Resources, and related services, and present Worklio's solutions to serve major clients with 50-500 employees.
  • Travel within a specific territory as required.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, ensuring appropriate follow-up throughout the sales process.
  • Facilitate the transition of data from the client's previous payroll provider to the Worklio system, collaborating with internal departments for a seamless transition.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with existing customers to identify additional service needs.
  • Proactively develop prospects through methods such as cold calling, referrals, professional and personal contacts, and other sources.
  • Represent Worklio at trade shows, conferences, and events to promote our services.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for your assigned territory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a quota-driven, business-to-business sales role, with a proven track record in prospecting and closing deals.
  • Ability to excel in a competitive environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills to handle objections and unexpected situations during the sales cycle.
  • Customer service orientation, with a commitment to putting the client first.
  • Effective presentation skills to convey the benefits of Worklio's services convincingly.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Active listening skills to delve into clients' needs and expectations.

The pay range for this position is $75,000 to $125,000 per year, but the base pay offered may vary based on your job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for our variable commission plan and an annual restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance, in addition to a comprehensive range of benefits outlined in detail on our website.
