Skillz is looking for a Workplace Experience Coordinator to assist in the operation & development function of our Workplace program in Las Vegas, NV. This individual will help provide a best-in-class Workplace for Skillzians by executing on a number of initiatives to make our office experience second to none. This role requires cross-functional collaboration across departments and will be a key partner in removing friction in the Workplace. Key focus areas would be in-office, helping to execute  events, game nights, IT set ups and more.  The Workplace Experience team is in a state of growth as we return to the office, and we are looking for builders--people who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get things done. This role reports to our Workplace Regional manager and will be integral in driving the development of employee experience at Skillz.Â
Responsibilities
- Assist with executing programs and initiatives to enhance the daily Workplace experience for our Skillzians while removing friction across the following key areas of program:
- Hospitality
- Culinary
- Events
- Tier 1 desktop IT support
- Help execute regional company-sponsored events as well as keep the events calendar up-to-date. (i.e. Town Hall, Weekly Kick off and Wrap, yearly calendar events, and Monthly community events).Â
- Review, validate, and get external vendor approvals, resolve discrepancies, and update and maintain related monthly KPI status, tracking the Workplace program performance.Â
- Partner with other Workplace members to understand initiatives, processes, tools, policies, and playbooks relating to workplace experience, ensuring consistent service levels and offerings.
- Help with transforming the future of Workplace Experience at Skillz as we Return to the OfficeÂ
- Partner and develop strong relationships with all key business partners e.g. IT, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Executive Administration etc. to help remove friction in your workplace.
- Troubleshoot Employee Wellness & Hospitality programs and improve to help improve current offerings.
What skills do I need?
- Some experience working in a thoughtful Workplace setting.
- A strong desire to help team members.
- Consistent track record of executing on engaging events.
- Highly ambitious, personable, resourceful, and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Â
- Strong organizational skills and collaborative work style.
- Experience with Google Suite, Slack, and/or other common technology.
- Takes initiative and goes beyond established framework; looks for new ideas and creative solutions to overcome challenges.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion.
- Passion for best-in-class workplace experience and customer service.
- Facility, event & vendor management experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
