Job Description

We bring together the best in strategic services, user experience and technical delivery using Lean and Agile processes.

Founded in 2010 by Stuart, Cain and David, we help large organisations improve their speed to market whilst focusing on delivering value to their users and customers. We work with our clients to understand their problems and validate ideas in order to deliver improved process efficiencies, strategic enhancements and new digital products and services (or make significant improvements to existing ones).

The best bit about Red Badger is, of course, the team. We’ve been around for 10+ years now and we are 120 strong. We are really proud of our people; we support and learn a lot from each other; we work really hard but have fun doing it. We are a diverse group made up of 22 different nationalities, speaking 17 different languages.

Our 3 founders have considerable tech and consultancy experience, and still own the company. We’ve been consistently profitable and have grown responsibly from the beginning. We are embarking on the next phase of growth and development.

The role

As People Experience Coordinator you will be supporting the environments, systems and processes that underpin the everyday running of Red Badger. From our physical locations, to the systems that organise us, to the social elements that are a part of working at Red Badger, you will be supporting them all. This role will suit you if you are organised, pragmatic, enjoy working in a small team and have an interest in developing a career in People Practices / HR.

Removing the sticking points and friction that can make life at work so annoying and frustrating, you will be helping to make sure that work at Red Badger is an emjoyable place to work. From keeping the fridge stocked and the meeting rooms running without a hitch to making sure the data in our systems is correct and up to date. When done really well, many elements of this role might feel almost unnoticeable, which is how it should be. Whilst other aspects will be clearly visible, such as the Welcome and Care Packs that you send out to employees and the events you help to run. The enthusiasm and flair that you bring to this role will help to create a working environment that people love.

As a friendly and extraordinarily well organised person, you will help to ‘run a tight ship’.  Efficient with a keen eye for detail, you are probably more organised than anyone else you know. Passionate about creating a working environment where everyone feels welcome and looked after, you really care about the details. No task is too small.

Reporting into the People Director you will also work closely with Finance and Marketing. You’ll be tech savvy and good with numbers. You appreciate the beauty of a good spreadsheet and understand that software systems are only as good as the quality of data that is maintained in them. Considered to be a very social person you will also help to organise and support social events including company parties as well as events with our external community.

Although Red Badger is a hybrid work place this role will be primarily office based as you will be the friendly face of the office; always available to help as and when required.
