What You Will Do

31st Union’s Workplace Experience Manager is fundamental to the overall studio’s success. You will collaborate with the Director of Workplace Experience to create an exceptional workplace that encourages our team to flourish and do their best work. You are flexible, a self-starter and exude a personable, positive attitude. You are a creative thinker, yet you balance your focus on efficiency and all the fine details. You thrive in a growing, ever-changing environment, are extremely detail oriented, and managing multiple projects simultaneously is your norm. 


Responsibilities

  • Oversee management of all tactical day-to-day facilities, studio operations, maintenance, tech
  • Proactively keep our studio running seamlessly by constantly curating a vibrant, well-functioning studio, managing procurement, stocking inventory, shipping / receiving, and partnering with property management staff on emerging issues
  • Responsible for vendor relations including building repairs & maintenance, event management, and other special projects
  • Provide reliable administration support across all levels of our team to include travel coordination, expense and calendar support, team offsites, ad hoc requests and projects
  • Responsible for team events in terms of logistics as well as creative planning and executing meaningful experiences that are fun & engaging
  • Actively develop, implement, and iterate ways to improve business processes for a seamless workplace experience that encompasses our environment, culture, and technology
  • Greet visitors at the front desk as needed, making our guests feel welcome and helping with any related logistics (security protocols, etc.)
  • Establish and maintain process and procedure documentation, share reporting, and data related to all studio facilities, operations, technology
  • Partner with Technical Operations Specialist and HR on coordinating projects with our IT partners regarding onboarding, supplies, deliveries, and installations

  • You have previous experience in facilities and operations management
  • You are extremely detail oriented, enjoy a mix of tactical projects and hands-on work needed
  • You love interacting with many different people and find joy in helping others
  • You are always thinking about how something could be done better and taking action to make the improvements to get there
